A special day with Mass
to mark the 50th anniversary of the Abbey Church
The Monastic Community at Worth are delighted to invite Worth alumni to join them to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Abbey Church on Saturday 12th July 2025. A day of prayer and celebration is planned and we invite you to stay on for refreshments and a picnic after Mass before an afternoon talk.
10:30am Arrival and welcome
11:00am 50th Anniversary Mass
12:00pm Refreshments in the Narthex
12:15pm Alumni tour of the campus from the Narthex
1:00pm Midday Prayer
1:15pm Lunchtime: Bring a picnic or purchase refreshments
2:30pm An Address by Rt Rev. Jeremias Schröder OSB, Abbot Primate of the Benedictine Confederation.
3:15pm Vespers
4:00-4:45pm Afternoon Tea
