Following Christopher Kelly's StB'78 feature in last year's issue of The Blue Paper about La Basilique de Vézelay, the Benedictine Abbey and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Burgundy, France, the Worth Community are delighted to announce a trip there between 26th-30th October 2025. Organised by Chris Wyles R'14 and supported by Worth School, Worth Society, Worth Abbey Pilgrims & Worth Parish, the trip is open to all members of the Worth Community and we would particular like to encourage alumni to join us.
Experienced guide Christopher will take us through the Abbey itself, with its beautiful architecture and symbolic use of light, and will also organise visits to other notable sites of interest in the area.
The price of the ticket is £130 and includes:
Travel and Accommodation - As participants will be coming from various areas and may like to choose their own place to stay in Vézelay, we ask that you please make your own transport and accommodation arrangements. We will be happy to help with recommendations.
