Come and prepare & perform Louis Vierne's Messe Solenelle
All alumni singers are warmly invited to join the Worth Abbey Choir in the Abbey Church for a day of music on Saturday 18th April as you prepare and then perform Louis Vierne’s Messe Solennelle, op. 16. You will be directed by Worth Abbey's Director of Music, Edward Dean, and accompanied by guest organist, Charles Andrews, Professor of Organ at the Royal College of Music.
The Programme for the day:
Rehearsal (singers) 11am -12:40pm
Lunch break (singers) 12:40 -1:30pm
Rehearsal (singers) 1:30 - 2:30pm
Pre-concert refreshments 2:30 - 3pm
Concert 3 - 3:45pm - Free entrance to guests attending the concluding concert.
The price to take part is £10 per singer, which includes a free take-home score. We also suggest singers bring a lunch.
