Worth Society our delighted to present a special concert in memory of Fr Stephen Ortiger, former headmaster and third Abbot of Worth, on Sunday 22nd November 2026 at 7:15pm in the Abbey Church at Worth. Proceeds from the concert will go towards the Fr Stephen Ortiger Bursary Fund and The Diocese of Arundel & Brighton Lourdes Pilgrimage.
London-based choir Vox Cordis will perform a selection of choral works along with the premiere of Julian Gairdner's StB'89 Abbatial Requiem, a setting of the Requiem Mass for four-part choir, organ, trumpets, cello and percussion. Dedicated to Fr Stephen, the work is a wonderful way of paying tribute to a much loved man among the Worth alumni and beyond.
