A special concert is being held in memory of Fr Stephen Ortiger, former headmaster and third Abbot of Worth, on Sunday 22nd November 2026 at 7:15pm at Worth Abbey. Presented by Worth Society, London-based choir Vox Cordis will perform a selection of choral works along with the premiere of Julian Gairdner's StB'89 Abbatial Requiem, a setting of the Requiem Mass for four-part choir, organ, trumpets, cello and percussion. Dedicated to Fr Stephen, the work is a wonderful way to pay tribute to a much loved man among the Worth alumni and beyond.
The concert will raise funds in support of the Fr Stephen Ortiger Bursary Fund and The Diocese of Arundel & Brighton Lourdes Pilgrimage. Tickets cost £16.50, which includes a complimentary interval drink, and can be PURCHASED HERE.
If you would like to join Vox Cordis to rehearse (in London) from September, and sing in the concert, please COMPLETE THE FORM ON THIS WEBSITE.
