Sunday 27th March was the perfect afternoon for the inaugural outing of the new OW 1st XI Team kit, with the lads looking particularly smart as they played Worth School 1st XI for the Henry Surtees Memorial Trophy which went to the School on a 3-1 score.

The team was captained by Harry Woodman F'10, assisted by D Baun F'12, T Bentley C'18, F Boag-Jones R'15, T Ferguson B'15, J Kemp F'14, W Mersh C'18. H Luff C'10, J Rivers F'10, O RIvers F'14, T Rivers F'11, F Ryan B'15, G Sinclair B'8 and D Hall F'10 in goal. Club Manager, Andy Taylor, was on hand to provide tactics and support.

In presenting the cup to the School 1st XI Captain, Will Speake, Andy reminded those present of the history surrounding this special memorial match played annually in honour of fomer student Henry Surtees who sadly died in a Formula Two race at Brands Hatch a month after leaving Worth in 2009.

Thank you to all those who came to play and support!
