Exciting news from the Old Worthians Football Club with their 6-a-side team winning their London league.
The league consisted of 11 matches before splitting into another 'cup/plate' league competition where 5 additional games were played. Old Worthians went into the final game top of the league, and knew that a win would guarantee bringing the cup home to Worth. It was a tense last game, with a late equalizer by the opposition setting up a tight finish. Luckily, the dependable Theo Rivers managed to get the winning goal with one minute to spare, securing our place at the top of the league.
