The School's Inter-House Debating final was a quality affair on 29th November 2024, with Gervase House emerging triumphant against St Catherine’s House.
The Inter-House Debating Cup is the annual celebration of debating within the School, giving students in all 10 Houses the opportunity to get involved.
The final took place in front of a panel of alumni judges which included King’s Counsel, Andrew Clutterbuck KC G'8. He was joined by barrister Christopher McCourt B'83 plus recent leavers Daniel Aghedo-Jacob G'23 and Tom Haller F'24, who were hugely involved with debating during their time at Worth.
Congratulations to both Houses who each debated superbly on the motion of 'This house believes that canabis should be legalised', giving the judges an incredibly tough decision, but with Gervase winning against the motion.
