5 years ago Rory Ryan C'09, founded ZiO Health Ltd. with a scientist from Imperial College and doctor from Oxford University. They developed and patented a pocket-sized DNA-based analyser to test a variety of molecules in blood, saliva, urine and other fluids and also produce products to serve non-medical applications. They are supported by Johnson & Johnson and have research agreements with John Hopkins University in the US and other organisations around the world.

ZiO Health will be launching an equity crowdfunding campaign in 2020 to suport the launch of Elosia later this year. Eloisia is a home urine testing product.
