A pre-season friendly for the Old Worthians 1st XI  football team, took place on Sunday 11th August 2024 at Rayners Park, against Wimbledon Sportsman Club.

The final score, on a blisteringly hot day, was 4-1 to the OWs. Centre forward, Charlie Weston F'17, scored 2 good individual goals and attacking midfielder, Theo Rivers F'11, put the game out of the reach of the opposition in the final minutes with a fine right foot shot (it was obviously his birthday!).

These are exciting times for Old Worthians Football. Worth won their division in the South London 6-a-side league.
Also OW 1st XI Captain, Harry Woodman F'10, Club Manager, Andy Taylor, and Ollie Rivers F'14 are now affiliated to The FA and have entered the OW 1st XI to play in The FA's Arthurian League Cup this season. So if you are interested in playing, email Club Manager, Andy Taylor agtaylor444@gmail.com or worthsociety@worth.org.uk
