Andrew Hogge StB'75 first read about Tom (Priestley) Taverner F'07 in a Worth Society newsletter last year when we reported that Tom had set up VIM Health, a specialist neurological therapy centre in Sussex, to treat those suffering from spinal cord and brain related injuries together with degenerative conditions such MND, MS and Parkinsons.

Andrew is a Trustee of The CiaO Foundation - 'Challenge is an opportunity' - a charity that provides non-medical support to those taking on challenges resulting from mental and physical disabilities.

Andrew and Tom recognised the benefits of working together to help people taking on these challenges and CiaO initially provided funding to purchase a medical reformer. CiaO and VIM Health have since formed a non-profit grant partnership to provide rehabilitation to those most in need from a prioritised medical and financial need perspective.

To help raise funds for this vital partnership, Andrew & Tom have organised a Sponsored Walk to take place on Saturday 8th October 2023 along the South Downs Way starting and finishing in Winchester. They would very much like to get as many Worthians as possible joining them on the walk so if you would like to be involved email Andrew at andrew.hogge@cyrilleonard.co.uk or Tom at tom.taverner@vimhealthcare.co.uk

You can sponsor them here and also read more on the CiaO website
