OW Singers wanted to sing for Fr Stephen

Worth Society is delighted to present a special concert in memory of Fr Stephen Ortiger, former headmaster and third Abbot of Worth, on Sunday 22nd November 2026 at 7:15pm at Worth Abbey. The proceeds of the concert will support the Fr Stephen Ortiger Bursary Fund and The Diocese of Arundel & Brighton Lourdes Pilgrimage. 

London-based choir Vox Cordis will perform a selection of choral works along with the premiere of Julian Gairdner's StB'89 Abbatial Requiem, a setting of the Requiem Mass for four-part choir, organ, trumpets, cello and percussion. Dedicated to Fr Stephen, the work is a wonderful way of paing tribute to a much loved man among the Worth alumni and beyond. We would therefore love as many OW singers to be part of the choir on the night. This will require some rehearsals in London from September.
