It was a true coming together of the Worth Community on Wednesday 18th September when Worthians, their families and friends and current Worth parents all joined together at the beautiful church of the Immaculate Conception in Farm Street, Mayfair, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Senior School. A Worthian Choir, led by former Worth Director of Music, Michael Oakley, sang magical pieces such as Panis Angelicus by Franck, accompanied by Worth Abbey Organist, D'Arcy Trinkwon. A lesson was read by Bernard Elkington R'63, one of the very first cohort and the Head Master read the bidding prayers. Everyone then converged on the Parish Hall for a fantastic selection of Argentinian wines donated by Adam Eleod StB'68 and the Premium Malbec Producers´ Club and a supper of meatballs and pasta with lashings of parmesan were served up by Worth Catering Staff courtesy of Worth Society.
