Highlighting our lifelong aftercare

We were delighted to see Worth Society feature in an article in last weekend's issue of The Tablet about the importance of alumni associations as a School's lifetime 'aftercare' system. Written by Joanna George of Alluminate, a consultancy for alumni associations worldwide, she highlights that the most compelling promise any educational institution can make is that it will not stop caring for and nurturing its students after they have gone through the school gates for the last time.

This promise is particularly evident at Worth and, in an age of increasing volatility in the jobs market, the Society's Mentoring Programme is such an important support tool for our own alumni. Worth Society Manager, Mary Lou Burge, is quoted as saying, 'an Old Worthian is someone who has a lifelong relationship rather than a leaving certificate'. You can read the full article here.
