The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity were delighted to receive the donation of £5,010 from the OW Football Club following their Advent Calendar Challenge. In a letter to the Club they said, 'Thanks to your support we continue to be there for everyone wo needs us, and ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, across the UK and around the world'.

The OW Football Club's Advent Calendar Challenge was a fantastic initiave where players swapped their studs for running shoes to run the distance to match the date each day from the 1st to the 24th December. That meant completing a Half Marathon on Christmas Eve and covering 300kms in total over the month.

A huge well done to all who took part and many thanks to all those who supported them!
