Worth Community receives a special award

The specially made plaque
The specially made plaque

We are thrilled and honoured to have received this very special plaque from Will Harries R'15 and the team at Augment Bionics thanking the Worthian Community for the support we gave them to produce and donate over 100,000 face shields to the NHS and abroad during the early months of the pandemic.  The Society put out calls for crowd funding in the early stages of the project and then asked the network for help with production and distribution. 2 Worthians who worked in logistics were able to help deliver the newly made facial shields to hospitals and care homes on behalf of Augment Bionics.

We will cherish this plaque and make sure it gets pride of place in Worth Reception. Thank you Will!
