There was a true Worthian spirit on display on Saturday 9th September when the 33 degree heat didn't stop a great turn-out of recent leavers and more experienced WOBS RFC players coming back to Worth for the annual Youngers vs Olders Match.

Played in 20 minute segments with plenty of water breaks, the match saw some incredibly strong play on both sides, despite the ferocious heat, but it was experience that came through on the day with a final score of 26-22 to the 'Olders'.

Head Master, Stuart McPherson, was delighted to present WOBS RFC and Olders Team Captain, James Kemp F'14 with the Glenn Robertson Memorial Trophy, particularly as the post-match tea was held in the cool of the air-conditioned Pitstop Cafe. This also gave the rugby club representatives a great opportunity to recruit from the fresh new talent that has just left the School.

We wish WOBS RFC the very best of luck for the season ahead and look forward to hosting you all again next year.
