Real Tennis Limerick Competition

Given that our creative and competitive juices cannot be channelled onto the tennis court, we are proposing a limerick competition.

With thanks to Tim Harper who has created the following competition for all Real Tennis enthusiasts with some time on their hands.

The rules for the competition are that for each limerick that is entered the theme must be Real Tennis clubs, Real Tennis terms or Real Tennis pros and personalities. The criteria for judging should be the immediate wit, the rhythm and the durability of the wit. (All entries will be censored before being published.)

The Real Tennis Limerick entries will be taken until Friday 5th February 2021 and will be published anonymously. The readers will vote for their top 3 entries and the winners will be announced on Friday 26th February 2021.

We look forward to hearing your answers...

Good luck!
