This Advent, you are very warmly invited back to Worth to listen to a series of talks. We hope you can join us for these enriching opportunities to engage with the insights of our monastic community.
On Saturday 23rd November Abbot Mark Barrett will speak at a session titled “Isaiah, the Prophet of Advent.” He will explore the significance of the Old Testament Book of Isaiah during Advent.
On Saturday 7th December Fr David Jarmy will present “Longing for God” focusing on deepening our awareness of our unity with God in Christ through Scripture and the writings of Christian mystics.
Both events will begin with registration and refreshments at 10:30am in the Abbey Church. We will then proceed to the Spencer Building for the talk. You are warmly invited to stay and attend Midday Prayer at 1pm with the Monastic Community, followed by a light lunch.
If you would like to join us, please email Kelly O'Hara at kohara@worth.org.uk indicating whether you would like to stay for lunch, which will incur a small charge of £5.
We look forward to welcoming you!
