Today marks Fr Kevin Taggart's 90th birthday and the Worth Society and the Worthian network have been busy ensuring it is a truly memorable one for him, despite the national lockdown.
Fr Kevin is such a much-loved member of the Worth Community that over 250 Worthians and their families signed an ecard that was delivered to his inbox this morning, this is in addition to the hundred or so physical cards that have arrived for him in the Monastery. He was also delighted to see a notice in today's issue of The Times with congratulations from the Society on reaching this milestone. Several Worthians have donated wines for the celebratory meal this evening in the Monastery, the School have prepared a delicious cake, and the Society have given a large chocolate and biscuit hamper for Fr Kevin to share with the Monastic Community.
We very much hope to be able to celebrate with him in person later on in the year. In the meantime, cheers to 90 years Fr Kevin, and may there be many more!
