Huge congratulations to Oli Jacobs F'10 who was celebrating on Sunday after winning his third Grammy Award.

Producer, mixer and engineer Oli was part of the team which won the award for Best Engineered Non Classical Album for i/o by Peter Gabriel. He was nominated for four other Grammys for his work with Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.

This latest achievement comes two years after Oli was a double winner at the 2023 Grammy Awards, where he was honoured for his work Harry Styles’ album Harry’s House which won Best Engineered and Album of the Year.

Speaking as he collected the award at the star-studded event in Los Angeles, Oli said:,“Peter Gabriel is a one-of a-kind artist and the trust he puts in his engineers is amazing. He will record anything from the coffee mug in front of him to his dog barking and he will try his best to turn that into an instrument, which might explain why this record took 20 years to make.

“But it doesn’t matter to him if he has worked on a song for a day or in the case of some of these songs nearly 20 years, he pursues perfection always and he has taught all of us to be better engineers. I am so humbled to be part of this process along with all the incredible engineers on stage with me. I would love to thank the Recording Academy and everyone who voted for us; this truly means the world.”

After leaving Worth, Oli went to the University of Surrey to study Tonmeister Sound Recording & Music. Upon graduation in 2014 he spent the next eight years working at Real World Studios, the recording facility created by Peter Gabriel set in a stunning rural setting near Bath, working his way up to head engineer. He is now based in LA and works with a range of artists.

This is a huge achievement and everyone at Worth is proud of Oli’s success.
