Having studied Human Geography at Leeds University, Charlotte Cotterell StA'12 then spent a couple of years in London as a recruitment consultant before deciding to train to become a commercial pilot. She is about to come to the end of her Commercial Pilot Training Course with Leading Edge Aviation Academy, based at London Oxford Airport. Coincidentally, Charlotte has been training alongside fellow Worthian Connor Thornton-Clark StB'14. Connor has spent the last 3 years as a passenger handling agent at Biggin Hill Airport and recently started his commerical pilot training. He has a further 2 months of intensive ground-school training before getting into the aircraft. We wish them both the best of luck!
Both Charlotte & Connor would be happy to speak to anyone interested in embarking on a career in Aviation, particularly as Charlotte says she found it particularly hard as there are so few women in the industry. If you are interested in getting in touch with either of them please email Worth Society.
